Police Benevolent Association of New York State Troopers, New York State Police Investigators Association Announce Support for Ulster County Executive Mike Hein
KINGSTON – The Police Benevolent Association of New York State Troopers (PBA) and the New York State Police Investigators Association (NYSPIA), together representing the interests of over 7,000 members, announced their endorsements for Ulster County Executive Mike Hein for re-election.
“Mike has proven himself to be a friend of the State Police and all law enforcement, and we look forward to working with him over the next four years,” said Tom Mungeer, 1st Vice Chairman of the PBA.
A strong supporter of state and local public safety efforts, Hein has prioritized funding for high quality law enforcement while also cutting taxes for Ulster County families.
“I am very proud to have earned the endorsement of those represented by New York State Troopers PBA and Investigators Association,” said Hein. “Law enforcement officers put their lives on the line every single day to protect and serve our community, and I look forward to continuing to work with all law enforcement to keep Ulster County safe.”
The Police Benevolent Association of New York State Troopers and New York State Police Investigators Association join the Ulster County Sheriff, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Police Benevolent Association, the Ulster County Superior Officers Unit, and the Kingston Professional Firefighters Association as public safety unions supporting Mike Hein for reelection.
This year’s general election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
